You say your mind is never shut
But you've got everything locked up
You've got a sentimental feeling,
But you're under someone else's thumb

Gonna ACT this way, gonna think this way
Gonna talk this way, gonna be the same
Gonna look away, gonna play this game
Gotta fit this way, gotta find a way
Gonna throw away all the things you say
Never gonna change
Gonna walk away to the next charade

Now you'll play the victim from the start
Show off your sacred, bleeding heart
You claim to know the path to healing
Empathy for all, but not for some

Gonna act this way, gonna think this way
Gonna talk this way, gonna be the same
Gonna look away, gonna play this game
Gotta fit this way, gotta find a way
Gonna throw away all the things you say
Gonna change your name
Before you take the stage, I'm gonna walk away

SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG
Things went one way, and then they went another. Initially, Sans came across as little more than the bumbling, inept, lazy, naive monster who sleeps too much and had no real purpose. Shadow seemed to buy into the front, at least for a time. With Confusion's arrival came explosive repercussions, a sense of envy, hatred, and frustration aimed at the skeleton who injured the hedgehog on accident, but never bothered to apologize or address the situation after. The interactions between the two that followed were tumultuous at best, neither particularly eager to run into the other.

And yet, Shadow happened upon a compendium of research written in some...very, very interesting pictograms, making him one of the few people in the city to come to understand the perilous story of the doctor they belonged to. It certainly wasn't intentional on either of their parts, but in enlisting Shadow's help to destroy and conceal what few remnants of the doctor that remained - for the sake of Frisk and Chara, who were planning to use said research to achieve full erasure of self - the two finally seemed to come to a sense of understanding, and reconciliation.
