[There's a pause; Carlisle seems a little surprised Sans would ask.]
I continue to live, against all odds. That should count for something.

[He and Carlisle could agree on such sentiments. There's a reason someone deemed as cursed doesn't like to get close to people.]
Fairly well, yes. I was not as close to her as some, but close enough that her presence will be missed.

I appreciate the sentiment, but her loss is not as much to me as it is to others. My um, partner, for example, as not taken her departure well at all, and he doesn't even work at the clinic. I cannot fathom what they are dealing with.
[But at least he has enough empathy to know they must be going through something.]

[He's clearly still getting used to the whole 'breaking the news' thing, as there's a second of hesitation on his end as he clears his throat.]
Er, yes. A big fellow by the name of Glacius.
[Not a monster, and certainly not a monster like Sans.]
He was rather close with Kate, unfortunately.

Thank you. I only hope that we do not lose to many others who are so vital to this place and our general well-being.
On occasion, perhaps. [Though he's promised he'll take it easy regarding his health.]
I shall inform you when I hear back from Frisk. Until then.
I shall inform you when I hear back from Frisk. Until then.
Since I offered to do so, I wanted to let you know that I managed to find Frisk.
For the most part yes.
I will try to make my way to the lab in a little while. The atmosphere outside is less than friendly.
[To put it lightly. Rage may have scored points with Chara by sharing their desire to murder Fear during the city split but this was going overboard. It was like nobody could decide if it was Rage or Delight they were feeling now.]

Yes it is a good plan.
And fairly bad. Rage is clearly getting the better deal out of this, I would say.
But we should be fine as long as we do not pick any fights.
[Which they won't unless someone gets the bright idea to threaten Frisk or vice versa.]

No.
[...some explanation would probably be nice too.]
It would not end well if you were caught out here. We will come to you.

[They don't mean to devalue him. Sans, when properly motivated, could be faster and stronger than any Monster Chara had gone up against. Their score still stood an uncountable amount to Chara's one win after all.
But that's the point. One lucky hit is all it takes. Chara's killed Sans once and calling for help got him killed again. They also nearly killed him during this event too. So no, not going to risk it.]
I agree.
But I will let you know if there are any complications along the way and if it will take longer than expected.
