[Things Gren is not used to: Sans offering him anything that doesn't come with a heaping side order of high blood pressure. But it's also probably better to have two people looking for Wade instead of just one, and Sans can probably handle himself well enough.]
[He just wants to find Wade, and find him in one piece.]
no bullshit?

fair enough
[That's basically the same reason that he's going out too; can't really begrudge him for that. And he is at least pretty sure that Sans' intentions are good, considering his relationship with Wade.]

[Oh hey, it's Carlisle reaching out to people rather than having them come to him, for a change. Does a magical skeleton count as people? What about his other, impromptu student?]
My apologies for the gaps between our lessons, as it seems this town would prefer me dead. Regardless, if you'd like to continue your lessons, it would be beneficial for the town to have more magical healers on hand, as I believe they are short-staffed at the clinic.

Indeed she did.
[And that's about the strongest sentiment he's given regarding her absence to anyone. He's used to losing those around him.]
We worked together on making those healing trinkets for others. With her gone, I have no enchanter to take her place. I know not how many other magical healers there are, but it was— [he clears his throat] —impressed upon me that perhaps I should teach the art to others who are capable so that they may help where they can.

[Addressing healing magic as "green" seems odd, but Carlisle supposes it makes sense, in a way. Trees in his world sometimes represent the restorative arts, and trees tend to be green at some point in their lives.
Well, unless they're not. Or they're another kind of plant, but not technically a 'tree.' Lots of flora comes in green, but not all flora is the kind that won't tear you to pieces if given the chance. Hm.]
He's not a magical skeleton, is he? Or another child?

Your king is here? What is it with this place and royalty?
[Don't answer that, Sans. He doesn't want to know how many other nobles he's making himself a fool in front of.]
Have you considered having him teach you such magic?

Odd that you can't harness the restorative craft of your world, but you can that of mine, to some degree.
[Though they have yet to really explore to what degree that is. Still, his magic seemed compatible enough from their initial lessons.]

... What an odd world you come from.
[To say the very, very least.]
Right. Well, I now need to contact my... other student to figure out when lessons would be most appropriate. I will update you once I have determined that.
[And yes, that other student.]

To be fair, you both were fairly insistent about their staying, and that seems unusual for you. And as it turns out, they had a very glowing recommendation just the other day that I was not apt to decline.
A pyromancer named Miss Rey. She said they were a good candidate for such abilities, and likely to use them for the benefit of others, unlike some in this city.
[Carlisle, thankfully, doesn't catch any shift in Sans' tone.]
Good. There are some in this city who would likely use such abilities for only their own benefit rather than that of others. That's not the point in such a craft.

It would certainly help, should you feel so inclined.
[Though given the way Carlisle is almost never over there, he obviously doesn't 'feel so inclined' himself for one reason or another.]
